Our Story
The Floating Chalets adventure began in 2019, when Mélibée and Joris acquired the estate following the passing of its former owner. Drawn by the beauty of the place and its exceptional natural potential, they decided to breathe new life into it.
Very quickly, a water sports centre was created, accompanied by a friendly bistro on the lakeshore. For six years, the couple welcomed families, sports enthusiasts and curious visitors looking for relaxation or adventure, giving the place a warm and lively atmosphere.
In 2024, Mélibée and Joris chose to evolve the project. The water sports centre was closed in order to refocus the estate on the essentials: a space for reconnecting with nature, calmer, more intimate, and designed for the renewal of its guests. New chalets are in preparation, always with an environmentally respectful approach.
An extension of the dining area is also planned, in harmony with this new vision: to offer an experience that is at once authentic, comfortable and deeply rejuvenating.
Our Philosophy
At the heart of our project lies a deep conviction: it is possible to create an exceptional tourist experience while respecting the environment and showcasing the local natural heritage.
We believe that true luxury does not lie in opulence, but in the quality of the experience: absolute calm, preserved privacy, a privileged contact with nature, and of course the authentic comfort of our chalets.
Every aspect of our floating chalets has been designed to minimise environmental impact while maximising the well-being of our guests. From the architectural design to the use of eco-friendly materials, through to our energy choices, everything contributes to creating a perfect harmony between people and their environment.
