Terms and conditions of sale for bed & breakfast stays
These terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) apply to bed & breakfast stays and to the unusual accommodation of the Dahu Wake Park, offered by Les Sablons SARL.
Article 1 – Duration of the stay
The client who signs this contract, concluded for a fixed term, may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises beyond the booked period.
Article 2 – Booking formalities
Upon receipt of your booking request, we send you a written confirmation by email – or, in the absence of an email address, by post.
The booking is only validated upon receipt of full payment for the stay. This payment is cashed upon receipt. For stays of one week (7 nights) and longer, payment in two instalments is possible upon request. Payment constitutes confirmation of your full and complete agreement with these terms and conditions.
Failure to pay the amount within the allotted time means that the booking is not confirmed and that, consequently, we reserve the right to make the accommodation available again once it has become vacant.
Article 3 – Consumer Code – Right of withdrawal
A booking made online, by telephone and/or by correspondence is a distance purchase. It is a contract concluded at a distance within the meaning of the definition given by the French Consumer Code. We are subject to articles L. 121-17 and following of the French Consumer Code.
We inform you that the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation service contracts.
Article 4 a. – Cancellation of the stay by the client
Any change is only possible after the agreement of " La SARL Les Sablons " and may result in additional charges.
In the event of cancellation of the booking before the start of the stay, the client shall owe, as a penalty clause, compensation set as follows :
- If the cancellation occurs more than 8 weeks before the arrival date : the amount paid will be refunded, less administrative fees corresponding to 3 % of the total amount.
- If the cancellation occurs between 2 weeks and less than 8 weeks before the arrival date : 50 % of the amount will be retained by SARL Les Sablons.
- If the cancellation occurs less than 2 weeks before the arrival date : the full amount of the stay will be retained by SARL Les Sablons (in accordance with the booking contract).
- In the event of early departure during the stay : full payment for the booked service is due, whatever the reason.
Article 4 b. – Force majeure (Covid-19 and other declared pandemics)
Except for any decree or order prevailing over the conditions set out below, any stay that cannot be honoured will be subject to the following provisions :
- Governmental measures (mileage restrictions, national or local lockdown, curfew, closure of establishments or borders, etc.) preventing your arrival : a postponement of the stay will be offered to you over a period of 12 to 24 months.
- If one of the occupants tests positive for Covid-19 (or another virus declared as a pandemic) : upon presentation of supporting documentation, a postponement of the stay will be offered to you for a period of 12 months from the initial stay date.
- If one of the occupants is a Covid-19 contact case (or for another virus declared as a pandemic) : upon presentation of supporting documentation from the health insurance authority, a postponement of the stay will be offered to you for a period of 12 months from the initial stay date.
For any request to postpone a stay due to force majeure, please send your request by email to the establishment, using the contact details indicated on your stay confirmation.
If you wish to cancel or postpone your stay without providing supporting documentation, the cancellation and modification conditions mentioned above, in part a., will apply.
Article 5 – Cancellation insurance to be taken out by the client
We draw your attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in our prices. It is therefore strongly recommended that you take out such insurance.
Article 6 – Cancellation of the stay by the owner
If, before the start of the stay, the owner has to cancel the booking, they must immediately inform the client by any means. The client will then be immediately and fully refunded the amounts already paid.

The departure time for the rooms is set at 10:00 a.m. at the latest.
A later departure may be possible upon request, subject to the prior agreement of the owner.
Article 9 – Payment for the stay
Full payment for the stay is required at the time of booking in order to block the dates. For stays of one week (7 nights) and longer, payment in two instalments is possible upon request. Additional charges (tourist tax, pet supplements, etc.) may be added to the initial amount.
Article 9 bis – Security deposit – Rental of the gîte
For any rental of the gîte, a security deposit of 500 € is requested on arrival. This deposit is returned within 7 days after departure, less, where applicable, the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged or missing furniture and equipment noted during the check-out inspection.
In the event of damage exceeding the amount of the security deposit, the client undertakes to pay the difference upon presentation of the corresponding supporting documents.
Article 10 – Change of rooms
Without the client being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the room initially booked by the client for a room of the same capacity or of a higher capacity. In such a case, the cost of the booking remains unchanged.

Les Sablons SARL is not liable for any loss, theft and/or damage or injury caused to property and/or persons on the property, for whatever reason.
Article 13 – Modification of the terms of sale
These terms of sale may be modified at any time and without notice. Acceptance of and compliance with these terms of sale are deemed to be acquired as soon as payment has been made.
